Andrew Truitt is the Subject Matter Leader for the Acoustics and Noise Control group within Black & Veatch's Environmental Solutions team and has more than a decade of experience in the industry. Mr. Truitt's holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in mechanical engineering and has provided acoustical engineering services to multiple industries including the following: Oil & Gas (compressor stations, LNG, exploration & production), Power Generation (RICE, turbines, nuclear, supporting substations, etc.), Renewable Energy (solar, BESS, wind, hydrogen, ammonia), Data Centers, Manufacturing and Mining, and Water Treatment ( pump stations, WTP, WWTP, desal plants, etc.). Project support ranges from high-level due diligence and risk exercises to full EPC support from proposal to commissioning. Acoustical engineering services provided to these industries includes ISO 9613 acoustical modeling studies, ambient and operational sound level surveys, acoustical beamforming studies, long-term web-based acoustical monitoring, acoustical mitigation design and installation, feasibility studies, and regulatory permitting support. Mr. Truitt has support projects both domestically and internationally and has presented to the Boards of County Commissioners for project permitting support for over a dozen projects.
