Retired Chief of EPA’s National Air Data Branch
John C. Bosch Jr, MSChE, was Chief of EPA's National Air Data Branch within the Agency's Office of Air Quality Planning and Standards ffrom 1971 until 1994 after which he was senior chemical engineer within the Emissions Measurement Center focusing on new emissions monitoring and measurement technologies. He was primary EPA liaison with the U.S Department of Defense as well as with ASTM and NIST on furthering and standardizing measurement of air emissions from military activities and in approving AP-42 emission factors for their use nationwide. He also worked with the World Health Organization and United Nations in advising many developing nations on their emission inventory and air monitoring systems.
