Jelena Popovic, Senior Managing Consultant, Ramboll
Jelena Popovic is an atmospheric scientist with over 20 years of experience assisting clients on air quality, weather, and climate issues. Ms. Popovic has performed a great number of air dispersion modeling studies using CALPUFF, AERMOD and other dispersion models in support of air permitting, litigation and research. She conducts and leads projects assessing impacts of criteria pollutants, dust, HAPs, and VOCs in the vicinity of the source as well as in the far field, including impacts on visibility in Class I areas. Ms. Popovic has conducted assessments of the health and environmental risks from exposure to air pollutants from a broad range of industrial, mining and enerty sources, pesticide applications, and accidental releases. Her experience also includes simulating meteorological conditions using WRF, data analytics, processing climate model outputs, and evaluation of air dispersion and meteorological model performances.
