Matt Loftis Biography
Matt Loftis is an environmental chemist and Laboratory Director at Enthalpy Analytical. He has over 20 years of experience working in an environmental lab, with nearly 12 years of that time spent as the manager/director of those labs. His particular area of expertise is in trace metals, including digestion, analysis, data review, and training of various methods, technologies and sample types. Prior to joining Enthalpy, Matt held lab management roles at First Analytical Laboratories, Pace Analytical, and Tritest, Inc.
Daniel Clayton Biography
Daniel Clayton is the Organics Operations Manager at the Enthalpy Durham site, and is an experienced laboratory professional who has been with Enthalpy for nearly a decade, supporting the Gas Chromatography, Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometry, and 325B Groups. He helps manage our high-volume production environmental lab, schedules lab production processes, and maintains lab inventory. He liaises between project managers, technical directors, and our quality assurance team. In addition, Daniel develops and implements strategies for process improvement, manages laboratory data post-analysis to ensure timely delivery of results to the clients, and researches new technologies and alternative methods for efficiency.
