Dr. Fernando Garcia Menendez is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering at North Carolina State University. His research focuses on developing tools based on numerical methods, uncertainty analysis, and integrated assessment modeling to
simulate interactions between environmental and human systems. Ongoing research includes efforts to simulate the effects of wildland fires on air pollution, evaluate uncertainty in projections of climate change impacts on air quality and health, and develop new computational methods for environmental modeling.
