Physical Research Scientist

Dr. Naeger is currently a Physical Research Scientist for the SPoRT Center and serves as the Mission Applications Lead (MAL) for the NASA Tropospheric Emissions: Monitoring of Pollution (TEMPO) mission. He specializes in air quality research with a focus on using trace gas and aerosol data from geostationary satellite instruments, particularly TEMPO, for developing value-added products and improving air quality model forecasts. As MAL of the TEMPO mission, he leads the Early Adopters Program with the goal of actively engaging users and stakeholders for maximizing the value of TEMPO data for societal benefit.
