John Kinsman has worked for more than three decades on Clean Air Act policy and regulatory issues, including climate and environmental justice, mostly at the Edison Electric Institute (EEI), last as Senior Director, Environment. He recently served on the A&WMA Board of Directors as a Vice-President and chaired the Board’s Finance Committee. He chaired the association’s Publications Committee, the Power Generation & Renewable Energy TCC, the Editorial Advisory Committee for EM magazine, and co-chaired specialty conferences on Electric Power Transformation and on Environmental Justice – from Policy to Practice. His degrees in environmental science are from the University of Virginia and George Mason University.
