Alan Williams is a Biologist working at the Environmental Protection Agency in the Office of Research and Development. He has been working with the EPA since 2008. He has provided laboratory analytical support to a variety of projects developing and using inorganic and organic methods for the analysis of air, soil, water, and other media, with a focus on volatile organic compounds. His recent research focus has been on vapor intrusion issues in large buildings, and community science use of indicator and tracer principles for vapor intrusion determinations, and investigations into the volatilization of PFAS in the vapor intrusion pathway.
