Kate Howe (she/her/hers)

Sustainability Project Manager
Weaver Consultants Group, Texas

Ms. Howe has worked in both the U.K. and U.S. environmental and waste sector and has over five years of focused sustainability experience. She has helped clients find innovative circular economy and end-of-waste solutions to improve sustainability of site operations. Projects included developing carbon footprints for landfills and solid waste operations, developing sustainability plans and objectives for Texas-based clients, and historically, she has created proposals to help several European clients progress toward their sustainability goals. Previously, Ms. Howe was responsible for advising the U.K. Environment Agency’s East and West Midland Area on embedding sustainability and identifying metrics for monitoring progress. She guided leadership in the integration and development of a sustainability plan and carbon roadmap, plus assisted with integrating sustainability goals within quarterly reporting. She is a sustainability certified professional with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), an international sustainability standard, and understands the importance of fully integrating sustainability within projects.
