Senior Environmental Engineer

Dr. Roger Wayson holds a Bachelor and Masters degree from the University of Texas at Austin, a Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University, and is a registered professional engineer in two states. He has been involved with noise and air quality analysis from mobile sources for over 49 years, starting his career with the Texas Highway Department after serving four years in the Marine Corps. After a long career in academia, he retired as a full professor from the University of Central Florida to continue his research efforts with the Volpe National Transportation Systems Center as a National Experts for DOT. He retired from the government to try new challenges first with Wyle as a Chief Research Engineer and now as a Senior Engineer for Noise and Air Quality with AECOM.
