Dr. Jia Xing is a research associate professor at University of Tennessee-Knoxville. He has a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering. His research mainly focuses on the air pollution and climate change using machine-learning and numerical modeling. He worked as an assistant/associated professor at Tsinghua University from 2016 to 2022, a research scientist at George Mason University from 2022-2023, and a postdoc at US EPA for 5 years from 2011 to 2016. He worked as visiting professor in Microsoft Research Lab – Asia in 2019. He also visited International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) and North Carolina State University during 2006 to 2009. He has published more than 200 scientific articles at the peer-reviewed journals in the field of atmospheric sciences.
