Diyuan Wang is currently a postdoctoral research scholar in Prof. Detlef R. U. Knappe's group at North Carolina State University. She earned her Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the same institution, advised by Prof. Joel J. Ducoste and Prof. Francis L. de los Reyes III. Dr. Wang's research focuses on applying mathematical modeling to gain mechanistic insights into chemical and biological systems across various applications, including PFAS sorption, microalgae-based bioprocessing, and hydrodynamic cavitation.
