Dr. Ahmed Rady is a distinguished environmental expert with over two decades of expertise in environmental pollution prevention, inspection, compliance, enforcement, air quality management, and regulatory development. He has held pivotal roles in renowned organizations. Currently serving in a leadership role at EAD within the Inspection, Compliance, and Enforcement Division, Dr. Rady has been instrumental in driving transformative environmental initiatives that enhance regulatory frameworks, sustainability, and environmental protection. His accomplishments include the participation in development of "Eltezam Tools " an innovative compliance and inspection system recognized as intellectual property, and the adoption of global best practices through benchmarking collaborations local and international environmental organizations such as GCC, USA, Australia, and Singapore. Dr. Rady played a key role in drafting several regulations, TGD, SOPs, and Standard. Dr. Rady’s expertise is underpinned by strong academic qualifications, including a PhD and master’s degrees in environmental science and a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and biochemistry. He has authored over 22 scientific publications on key topics such as air quality management, permitting, environmental impact assessment, risk assessment, compliance, and enforcement. His technical proficiency includes air dispersion modeling, such as AERMOD, and the development of emission inventories to enhance air quality control strategies. Moreover, Managing the strategic initiatives and projects of the compliance and enforcement division and being a member of the cross-section strategic priorities. Beyond his technical expertise, Dr. Rady is a proven leader dedicated to capacity building and innovation. Over his career, he has mentored numerous professionals and delivered more than 2K hours of technical training. He has managed permitting and compliance of large-scale projects across Abu Dhabi and Dubai and spearheaded initiatives to enhance environmental performance, ensure compliance with regulations, and adopt sustainability. Dr. Rady’s forward-thinking approach and dedication to environmental protection have earned him numerous awards for excellence in environmental performance.
