Robert Mentzer has over 30 years of experience in airport environmental studies with HMMH and is a Fellow member of A&WMA. Robert has been the project manager or lead technical analyst for many NEPA and airport noise and air quality projects across the US. He las led the preparation of noise contours for over 60 airports, including noise elements of Part 150 Land Use Compatibility Planning Studies, Environmental Assessments, Environmental Impact Statements, Airport Master Plan Studies, and other studies concerning airport noise and air quality. He has worked on a variety of projects from major roadway construction projects, GA airports to several major airport expansions throughout his career. He has a long history of working with FAA’s noise models and he is currently leading studies in Guam, Palm Beach County, DFW and Boston Logan. He has been a member of AWMA for most of his career. He is the Chair of the EM Group, Vice-Chair of the Community Noise and Vibration committee and has previously served as Chair of the Transporation Division (ET), ET Vice-Chair and Chair of the Community Noise and Vibration committee.
