He has worked on environmental issues related to chemical manufacturing and human risk assessments related to chemical exposure for 30 years. He has a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech. He is a qualified environmental professional (retired) and a registered professional engineer (retired). He has been a member of AWMA since 1987.
