Dr. Ghanimeh is a Research Associate Professor at the Environmental Science Center at Qatar University. She is a scholar in the field of Environmental & Water Resources Engineering. She has an extensive consultancy experience and international research and professional collaborations, and held key positions at international organizations.
Her research focuses on treatment processes that recover energy and resources from wastewater and solid waste. Also, she studies community resilience and adaptation to climate, addressing mainly effects on water quality and quantity. She investigates efficient alternatives for integrated water management in Qatar and the GCC region.
