Richard N. Lindstrom, M.S., retired, worked most recently for the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency's Division of Air Pollution Control. In his position with Ohio EPA's Central District Office, Mr. Lindstrom composed air permits and conducted compliance inspections of facilities, as he did with Alabama's Department of Public Health in the 1970's. Mr. Lindstrom was a core member of Ohio EPA's 2nd Level HOV Review Committee, which reviewed demonstrations from landfill operators for higher operating values for landfill gas extraction wells.
Mr. Lindstrom has also held environmental positions with companies in the steel industry and in the petroleum refining industry. Mr. Lindstrom managed a multi-million dollar project for controlling fugitive particulate emissions from an electric arc furnace shop. From petroleum refineries, Mr. Lindstrom managed hazardous waste, reported toxic release inventories, and recommended pollution prevention actions.
