Victoria Evans, BS, MS Nat. Res., serves as the National Climate Change Practice Lead at SCS Engineers in northern California. She has over 25 years of experience in climate and GHG emissions inventorying, management and reduction. Over the last two years she has been advising clients on compliance with California climate disclosures under SB 253/261 and AB 1305, and serves as a frequent speaker on this topic. Prior to joining SCS, she oversaw the performance of 150 Corporate GHG inventories per year from 2022 to 2024. Most of these supported SBTi commitments and annual CDP reporting. Victoria has also assisted international clients on carbon inset projects in the food/bev sector. She is recognized as a global expert on corporate GHG accounting and experienced in decarbonization goal setting and implementation steps. Victoria was selected by the GHG Protocol and currently serve on the Technical Working Group for Corporate Standard revisions. Her experience includes developing both voluntary and mandatory GHG inventories, cost-effective GHG reduction options, and decarbonization roadmaps.
