Wilma Dreessen

Senior Environmental Air Specialist

Ms. Wilma Dreessen is a Senior Environmental Air Specialist at Chevron Products Company. She is a Vice President and the Finance Chair on the A&WMA International Board. She is an officer on the Golden West Section (GWS) Board. Ms. Dreessen first served as membership chair for GWS for 4 years. She was chair of GWS from 2015 through 2018 and then became treasurer and continues to serve in that role. Serving as Local Host Committee Chair for the Annual International Conference in 2020 (ACE 2020) held virtually and ACE 2022 held in person San Francisco, allowed her to select 16 volunteers that worked as a team and helped A&WMA staff prepare excellent conferences. Ms. Dreessen has 36 years of experience in environmental permitting and compliance. Twenty years were in consulting and sixteen years in industry. She is currently in a leadership role in permitting and compliance at Chevron Richmond Refinery in the San Francisco Bay Area. Previously, she worked at Phillips 66 Rodeo Refinery and led the air permitting effort to convert a crude oil refinery to a renewable diesel manufacturing facility. Ms. Dreessen has been a member of Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA) since 2000.
