Clara Poffenberger is an environmental attorney with over 30 years of experience with state and federal environmental laws and regulations. She began her career at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, in the Office of Air and Radiation in the Stationary Source Compliance Division in Washington D.C. and in the Air Enforcement Division of OECA. In 1995, Clara joined private practice working with companies on Clean Air Act and other environmental matters, including environmental impact assessments, release reporting, solid and hazardous waste issues, and water permitting compliance issues. Clara continues to work with the oil and gas, petroleum and chemical industries, providing compliance advice related to all federal and state air laws and regulations as well as strategic counseling regarding a wide variety of environmental matters, including fuels regulations, environmental assessments, endangered species, and waste regulations.
