Gaby Saavedra is a Sustainability Project Manager at the Georgia Manufacturing Extension Partnership (GaMEP) at Georgia Tech, where she provides guidance and expertise to Georgia manufacturers in the areas of environmental compliance, sustainability, and energy efficiency. She is a certified lead auditor for ISO 14001 environmental management systems (EMS) and is experienced in conducting EMS internal audits, as well as environmental compliance audits. Ms. Saavedra is the Technical Committee Chair of the Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA) Young Professionals Advisory Council (YPAC) since March 2023. Ms. Saavedra holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana (UPB) in Colombia and a Master of Science in Earth and Atmospheric Sciences from Georgia Tech.
