Onyinye A. Ezeifeka, M.S., is a PhD Student in Industrial Hygiene at the University of Cincinnati. She is being mentored by Prof. Yevgen Nazarenko. Her research focuses on occupational exposure of aviation workers to aircraft engine emissions.
Onyinye holds a double M.S. in Soil Science and Environmental Chemistry from the Agricultural University of Plovdiv, Bulgaria, and Ondokuz Mayis University, Türkiye (2021-2023), through the Erasmus Mundus Master’s Scholarship Program. Her studies focused on environmental pollution control, phytoremediation, and soil chemistry. Onyinye also earned her B.S. in Soil Science from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (2014-2019), where she focused on soil contamination and environmental impact assessment.
Onyinye joined the Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA) in 2023. She has received the AWMA Environmental Management or Policy Research and Study Related to Air Quality Award (June 2024), and her team from the University of Cincinnati came in 3rd Place in the 2024 Environmental Challenge International in Calgary, Canada.
