Ph.D. candidate
Graduate Institute of Environmental Engineering, National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan (Republic of China)
My name is Hung-Pin Huang, and I am a Ph.D. candidate at the Graduate Institute of Environmental Engineering, National Taiwan University, under the supervision of Professor Hsing-Cheng Hsi. My research focuses on the recovery of critical resources from waste materials, with an emphasis on sustainable and environmentally friendly approaches. For this conference, I will be presenting my study titled "Recovery of Platinum Group Metals from Spent Automotive Catalyst Leachate using Activated Carbon Fiber Cloth through Electrodeposition."
My primary research interests lie in circular economy, precious metal recovery, air pollution control, and the application of electrochemical techniques in environmental engineering. I am particularly interested in developing innovative and efficient methods for resource recovery that align with sustainable development goals. By integrating electrochemical processes with advanced material applications, my work aims to enhance the recovery efficiency of valuable metals while minimizing environmental impact.
Through my research, I hope to contribute to the advancement of green technologies and promote sustainable resource utilization. I look forward to exchanging insights with fellow researchers and exploring potential collaborations in the field of environmental engineering.
