21 years of experience as expert and researcher in the field of air pollution (AP) including modelling analysis using analytical and statistical model; low carbon transport studies (LTS); municipal solid waste management; fire-fighting of the peatland fire; Climate mitigation actions; knowledge and experience with behaviour analysis especially on transport sector (demand); environmental impact assessment (EIA).

Studies on Urban Transition Process in ASEAN countries focusing on the alternative fuel from municipal Solid Waste Management in several cities; and urban governances. Engaged in the field experiment to evaluate the effectiveness of friendly soap-based fire-fighting foam to extinguish forest and peatland fire in central Kalimantan Indonesia. Low Carbon City Development studies for developing local action plan at sub-national and city level in ASEAN countries; Low carbon scenario on Transport and Energy Sector; Household Energy Consumption, Vehicle ownership and individual mobility in ASEAN cities. Studies on environmentally sustainable transport especially for these following topics/areas: Bus Rapid Transit System; Green infrastructures (Non-motorized transport system and walkability studies); Awareness Raising/Campaign: Eco-driving & Promoting Public Bus for School Travel; Social Inclusion of Transport System: Paratransit System; Online Transport Sharing System (motorcycle sharing system) and online shopping system.

Experience of multi-country collaborative projects with UNESCAP and IISD. Experience of giving training courses to government officials/lectures to university students. Experience of giving awareness raising training and campaign for sustainable life style on Non-motorized transport, traffic safety, eco-driving and shifting to public bus for junior high school students in developing countries. Experience of giving awareness raising training and campaign on community waste managements (waste separation at home; organic waste treatment at community level; and monitoring of citizen participation on waste separation at home). Experience of international meetings including, Zero Carbon City Forum, High Level Seminar on Environment Sustainable City (HLS-ESC) between Japan-ASEAN.
