Data center noise is getting a lot of bad press these days and for most people/companies, this may be the first time they have ever had to deal with industrial noise problems. In this session we will discuss what is causing these issues and illustrate some examples of successful acoustical engineering approaches to address these problems. We will also discuss strategies on public engagement to help inform permitting agencies and the public when this level of due diligence is being applied to a project.
